Week 14
What I learned Today we learned about different models and what they are used for. I thought it very interesting when we looked at two different types of maps and what they are "better" used for. For example, a flat map is misleading instead of a round map. I learned that when we are picking what type of a model to use, we have to think about how every model has its limits, but picking the best model, we should ask these questions first. - What's involved - What's not - What are we looking to answer This is the first model we made to explain why the plunger sticks to the table. We then did an Ice Melting simulation and touched deeper on what we had already done in one of our first labs of this unit. It was cool that it was an online simulation, so students could do it anytime. We then made a flip grid which I will attach here.
